Jaimee @TechStars 2024

Jaimee was thrilled to be selected by Techstars as one of the 12 start-up companies (out of 400 who applied) for its 2024 programme from September to December in Sydney. In 13 weeks we learned an immense amount about starting, growing and operating a business - from product strategy to fundraising to operations to people.

Jaimee Techstars demo day

As a grand finale, we were given 8 minutes to showcase our product and ourselves; check out in the video above CEO Sreyna Rath’s address, meet Jaimee, and watch our Q&A session with Simon Scarf.

Incredible Techstars mentors

We were privileged to meet amongst others Alberto Chierici, Kath Purkis, Chris Simon, Hannah Moreno, Mai Le (our ‘Piglet’ - in a good way), Simon Scarf and the MD of Techstars herself, Kirstin Hunter, all of whom started as mentors for the programme but have agreed to continue as advisors. The combined expertise, experience, intellect and compassion of these people is awe inspiring and is helping/will help us make Jaimee into a product that gets better and better, for its users and society.

Extraordinary Techstars cohort

We were also incredible lucky to spend 13 weeks with the other founders of some amazing new start-ups. Lucky not only because of their intelligence and passion, but also their kindness and generosity; as a cohort we were definitely more than the sum of our parts, and we were proud of the fact that 10 of the 12 companies had at least 1 female founder. We commend you to some amazing businesses:
